Descriptions

It is a medium-sized tree. Bark is smooth and grayish-brown when young, becoming rougher and darker with age. Leaves are simple, alternate, and elliptic to oblong-oval in shape. They have smooth, glossy green upper surfaces and lighter undersides. The leaves are aromatic. Flowers are small, pale yellow to greenish- yellow in color. Fruits are small, berry-like drupe.
