Descriptions

It is a medium-sized deciduous tree. Bark is grayish-brown in color. Leaves are compound, alternate, and pinnate. Each leaf comprises 3-8 pairs of leaflets and a terminal leaflet. It produces large, fragrant flowers, golden yellow color that gives the tree its common name, "golden shower." The flowers have five petals and numerous stamens. Fruit is cylindrical, woody pods.
