Descriptions

It is a small to medium-sized tree. Leaves are papery to thinly leathery, oblong in shape, and covered with fine hairs. Flowers are tiny yellow-green to yellow- red flowers, borne on branched terminal inflorescences. The plant is dioecious. The male inflorescences are longer and stalkless, while the female inflorescences are shorter and stalked. Fruits are fleshy ellipsoid drupes, red on ripening.
