Descriptions

It is a fast-growing, deciduous tree. The tree has a slender trunk with corky, whitish bark. Its leaves are compound, tripinnate, with small, elliptical leaflets that are bright green. The tree produces fragrant, creamy-white flowers arranged in loose clusters. The fruit is a long, slender, cylindrical pod (drumstick) that can grow up to 30-45 cm long, containing seeds embedded in a fibrous matrix.
