Short Description	:	It is a deciduous tree native to tropical regions of Asia and the Pacific. It is distinguished by its striking coral-red flowers, compound leaves, and its ability to grow up to 15 meters in height.

Descriptions

It is a medium to large-sized tree. Bark is grayish-brown in color and branches are armed with large, scattered prickles. Leaves are compound, with three leaflets, each leaflet is broadly ovate to rhomboid in shape, with smooth margins. Flowers and arranged in dense clusters at the ends of branches. They are typically bright red in color. Fruit is a legume. The pods are elongated and flattened, typically containing several seeds

A decoction of the bark and leaves is used to treat dysentery. It has also ornamental values.
