Descriptions

It grows to a height of 3-6 meters. Leaves are oval-shaped, alternate, and evergreen. The leaves have a distinct lemony fragrance when crushed. Flowers white to pale purple in color, solitary or arranged in clusters at the leaf axils. Each flower has five petals and numerous stamens. Fruits medium-sized berry with a thick, leathery rind, bright yellow to pale yellow color when ripe. The pulp is divided into segments filled with juicy and contains numerous seeds.
