Descriptions

It is a woody herb. Leaves are compound. Each leaflet is lanceolate to ovate in shape, with serrated margins. The leaflets are arranged alternately along the stem. Flowers are small and inconspicuous, arranged in elongated clusters known as racemes. The individual flowers are typically pink to purple in color. Fruits are small pods or legumes containing seeds. These pods are cylindrical and may be covered in fine hairs
