Descriptions

It is a perennial shrub plant with leafy shoots that grow up to 2-3 meters tall. It has lance-shaped, dark green leaves arranged alternately along the stem. The plant produces small, pale yellow flowers with red markings, emerging from dense, spiky inflorescences near the base. The fruit is a capsule, roughly 2-5 cm long, that ripens from green to brown and contains numerous aromatic seeds.
