Descriptions

It is a medium to large-sized deciduous tree. The leaves are large, simple, and ovate to oblong, with a glossy green upper surface and a slightly hairy underside. The tree produces small, greenish-yellow flowers in clusters. The fruit is a round to oblong, fleshy, green to yellowish-brown syncarp, resembling a small jackfruit but much smaller, with multiple seeds embedded in the fibrous pulp.
