Descriptions

It is a medium to large sized tree. Leaves are alternate, simple, and broadly ovate to elliptic in shape. They have serrated margins and a smooth texture. Flowers are small and inconspicuous, greenish-yellow to pale yellow in color. They are borne in clusters and lack petals, but are surrounded by five sepals. Fruits are round to slightly flattened capsules. They are initially green, turning brown as they mature.
