Distribution	:	Found throughout India including Odisha. Native to tropical Africa, Arabia, and Sri Lanka. It's also found in drier parts of Madagascar, Malaysia, and the Philippines. It has been introduced and naturalized in Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia etc.
Habit	:	Climber
Short Description	:	It is a succulent vine with four-angled, winged stems and tendrils. It is widely used in traditional medicine for its bone-healing properties.

Descriptions

It has four-angled winged stems. Leaves are broad ovate, toothed trilobe, appear at the nodes. Each has a tendril emerging from the opposite side of the node. It has reddish flower buds that open to white petals. Fruits are ovoid, turning red when ripe.
