Descriptions

It is a medium-sized evergreen tree. Leaves are simple, bright green above and paler and rusty beneath with a variable blade shape that can be oblong to obovate.. The apex is acuminate, the base is rounded or cordate, and the margins are coarsely toothed. Flowers are large, white, with inverted-lance shaped petals. Fruit is pear-shaped, rusty, and pointed at both ends
