Descriptions

It is a rhizomatous perennial plant characterized by its robust, cane-like stems. The leaves are spirally arranged, oblong to lanceolate, glossy green surface. Its inflorescence consists of large, showy, white flowers with crinkled petals, emerging from bright red bracts. The flowers are tubular with a yellow throat and are typically borne in dense terminal clusters.
