Descriptions

It is an erect shrub or small tree that grows from 2 to 8 meters in height. The leaves are digitate, and each leaf has 3-5 lanceolate leaflets. The central leaflet is the largest and possesses a stalk. Flowers are small, usually blue, or violet, subsessile to shortly pedicelled. Fruit is a drupe that is rounded to egg-shaped.
