Descriptions

The plant features pinnate leaves composed of five to seven elliptic leaflets. The flowers are strikingly blue-purple in color, resembling a butterfly in shape, hence named "Butterfly pea". Sometimes, white, or pink flowers are also seen. The fruit is a pod containing several seeds.
