Descriptions

The stems are greenish grey with innumerable spines, and the flowers bright blue. Leaves are unequally paired, leaf blade ovate, margin or pinnately parted, lobes unequal, sinuate, apex acute with long yellow sharp prickles. Berry pale yellow.
