Flowers are small, pale yellow to cream-colored, and borne in large terminal panicles. Each inflorescence can contain hundreds to thousands of individual flowers. Fruit is a drupe, typically oval to kidney-shaped, and varies in size. The flesh of the fruit is juicy, sweet, and aromatic, surrounding a single large flat seed or stone.
