Descriptions

It is a succulent perennial plant with a distinctive zigzagging stem. Its leaves are arranged in opposite pairs along the stems and are elliptic to lanceolate, often with red or purple markings along the edges. The plant produces inconspicuous reddish pink flowers arranged in clusters at the tips of the stems. It contains milky latex.
